Hiking: Mas Pigot is located in the Parc Natural del Foix, from the house we recommend a small path that leads to the Castell de Castellet. The route passes through vineyards and woods with typical Mediterranean vegetation.

The full path is from the castle of Sant Raimon de Penyafort (Santa Margarida i els Monjos) until the Castell de Castellet. It’s an easy hike, with some steep slopes, which runs between paths and tracks. In total there are about 7kms with a maximum altitude of 117mts, the total duration is about 2 hours.

Medieval dovecote: The oldest building in Mas Pigot is a dovecote or pigeon tower, is not dated, but it is hypothesized that was created in medieval times. A dovecote is, according to Wikipedia: a construction for breeding doves and pigeons. The materials that are constructed, based on availability of the area and structure.
